Dear U11 Hurling Parent/Guardian,
Please read and cooperate with the following before returning to training with Athgarvan GAA on Friday 30th April @ 6.30pm.
Every parent/guardian for U11 Hurling is required to undertake the online e-learning module before coming to the pitch for the first session (Friday 30th April @ 6.30pm). Please click here.
On completion of this module, you will be awarded a certificate and evidence of this must be kept on your person (on mobile phone or as a piece of paper stored safely in your car) to the team’s Covid Supervisor and/or coach before the first training session (Friday 30th April @ 6.30pm). Parents are asked to drop children off to training and then leave the GAA grounds rather than wait until the session is over.
Every child will be expected to bring his/her own water bottle and use only that bottle during the session. Every child must have their own Helmet and hurl as we can no longer share helmets or hurls from club stock. Also, from a safety point of view, shin guards must be worn at all times during hurling sessions.
We realise that some children and/or parents/guardians may have concerns about returning to Gaelic games at this time. We fully appreciate such concerns and you and/or your son/daughter will be very welcome to return whenever they return. If a child is not returning to play at this time, we ask that you advise either Ronan or myself at your earliest convenience.
Looking forward to seeing everyone back on Friday 30th April @ 6.30pm.
Best wishes.
John O’ Sullivan, Ronan MacDonald
