Located on the front of the club house facing the main gate, the Automated External Defibrillator (AED) was commission in 2021 with a new AED unit (Mediana HeartOn A15) in September 2021 with the help of Newbridge Community First Responders. The HeartOn A15 was chosen to align with the units being strategically position around Athgarvan and Newbridge Towns.
The code to open the unit and eircode in the event of having to call 999/112 is located on the front pane of glass and easily seen.
The unit is tested and monitored by Newbridge First Responders on a regular basis.
