Today saw the newly created Athgarvan GAA U6 from the nursery group take part in their first football blitz @ Suncroft GFC.

The teams today; GORM & GLAS gave a fine performance for their first day out against Suncroft GFC, Nurney GFC and Kildangan GFC with plenty of support and encouragement coming from the sidelines.

Also a very big shout out and thank you to JONES ENGINEERING who kindly sponsored the U6 jerseys and a set of GoGames footballs. As always, Athgarvan GAA are very grateful to all those who sponsor club activities and equipment.

Finally, a big thank you to Suncroft GFC for organising a well run Covid compliant blitz. Great to see some many of the volunteers and referees coming from the younger generation.
