Attention ALL Parents….The Club needs your Plastic Rubbish...Well your empty single-use plastic bottles & aluminum drink cans to be exact.

Athgarvan GAA are participating on Repak’s new recycling scheme which will see them pay the Club for every full bag they collect from the clubhouse…€3 per bag.

We have set up a dedicated area at the back of the clubhouse (under the porch) for you to place your EMPTY water / mineral bottles & aluminum cans so please start to use these ASAP. It's a great way to encourage your children to think GREEN plus it frees up space in your recycle bin.

Remember every full bag produced is worth money to our Club….to put this into perspective, another club within Newbridge raised over €2,400 through this initiative last year so it’s well worth doing - raise funds, do your bit for the environment - WIN WIN for all...

We’ll circulate further info & updates for everyone as the project progresses & thanks in advance for your support & participation.

So the next day you're dropping your child off from training or coming to watch a home game, bring your plastic bottles & aluminum drink cans.
