Athgarvan 1-5 Kill 0-10

Our seniors lost their unbeaten record last night to a strong Kill team in Raheens.
Playing against the elements in the first half our lads played really well and went into half time one point to the good 1-3 to 0-5.
Our goal coming from a well taken goal by Cian Butler followings great run by Jordan Nolan Mullally.

The second half didn’t go to plan with some early missed chances but we were still in the game right to the end. Unfortunately we couldn’t find the scored we needed and Kill ran out deserved winners by 2 points.

We now sit on the same points total as Kill and Robertstown but our big score against Ardclough will be discounted as they subsequently withdrew from the league.
The table below does not reflect this yet.

This leaves us in third place in the group and into a quarter final v Kilcullen.
