Well done to the Shamrocks this evening. The score went against us but our team did themselves proud. I hear it was a magnificent game - I confess that we on the side line didn't really get to see the spectacle that it was. What we did see was a first twenty minutes where we had Broadford seriously rattled. In fairness the lads gave it everything, each and every one of them - they kept fighting for the ball to the end and played some of the best hurling I have seen for this team this year - we can ask for no more than that. On behalf of the coaches, I have to say we are so proud of the lads and their commitment over the last few months. As a team, they show enormous promise and we look forward to developing and growing together in the future and look forward to chasing for Fèile next year. I believe that we are very close to winning. Thanks to the parents and families for your support. To the players, we say well done, you can hold your heads high. And remember what the ref said at the end, if we can expand our squad, it will help us all, so ask your friends if they want to try hurling and we'd be glad to have them along. Onwards and upwards. Feargal, Martin, Shay & Conor.
